BRENTWOOD ACADEMY PARENTS ASSOCIATION

BAPA

Brentwood Academy Parents Association (BAPA) exists to partner with BA to intentionally help fulfill the mission and ministry of Brentwood Academy by investing in students, supporting faculty/staff, and building community.

Upon enrolling students at BA, parents become members of the Brentwood Academy Parents Association (BAPA). Parents are encouraged to get involved in the life of the school. BAPA provides numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Within BAPA, there is an advisory board that is composed of 21 parent volunteer members who accept a three-year term to oversee assigned BAPA activities.

BAPA also assigns two Grade Level Parents (GLP’s) for 6th-11th grade and 6 GLP’s for 12th grade to help oversee the grade level activities and coordinate volunteers.

Below are some of the contributions of BAPA throughout the year:

  • Investing in students by sponsoring events including school spirit activities, activity period “BAPA Breaks,” homecoming dinners and grade-level trips.
  • Supporting faculty/staff through hosting teacher treats, teacher breakfasts, faculty/staff appreciation week and the Thanksgiving/Easter bakery.
  • Building community through family programs including parent socials, tailgates, Mom's Bible Studies, BA Dads and community outreach events like Christmas in Brentwood.

A LETTER FROM THE BAPA PRESIDENT

"We are blessed at BA to have an amazing community of parents who desire to partner with the mission and vision of Brentwood Academy. As the parent of a current BA middle school and upper school student, and a BA alumna, I am honored to serve as the president of the BAPA board for the 2025-26 school year.

I am excited about all the ways God will lead us during the school year and encouraged by the wonderful support of the BA parent community. My prayer is that as parents, we will always seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus, lifting up and supporting our students, faculty/staff, and always seeking to build up our community in a positive way."

"God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another." - 1 Peter 4:10

BA DADS

The Brentwood Academy Parents Association provides several opportunities throughout the year for dads to connect with each other for fellowship, fun, and service.

FRIDAY MORNING COFFEE STOP

FRIDAY MORNINGS: 7:30-8:30 AM
CURT AND CINDY MASTERS CHAPEL

Dads, join us every Friday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 AM in the Curt and Cindy Masters Chapel. This is a great place to fellowship and connect with other dads while beginning your day with devotion and prayer. You will also have the opportunity to hear from our great faculty, staff, alumni, and other members of the BA family as they bring a word of encouragement to start your day.

DADS BIBLE STUDY

TUESDAY MORNINGS: 7:30-8:30 AM
CURT AND CINDY MASTERS CHAPEL

Join us on Tuesday mornings 7:30 - 8:30 in the Curt and Cindy Masters Chapel for Dads Bible Study. Together, we commit to studying the word of God and leading our families in a way that brings honor and glory to God, as outlined in Ephesians 5:22-26. Like the Friday Morning Coffee Stop, we invite you to join us when you are able to do so. Each week's study will be stand-alone; we encourage you to come when you can.

SOCIAL AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Check the Family Flyer (sent to your inbox on Thursday afternoons) for regular social gatherings from nights around a fire pit to dinner around Monday Night Football. Be sure to stop by the BA Dads grill at every home football game where we'll be flipping burgers and watching the Eagles. Annually, BA Dads are responsible for lighting up the school at Christmas, so look for setup and breakdown opportunities to let your inner Griswold loose.
